Safeguarding
Safeguarding our pupils is paramount at Hillside Primary and Nursery School. Our aim is that all pupils feel safe and secure, in a caring place where they feel valued. We put children at the centre, listen and hear what they say. Every individual within our school aims to provide a safe environment and vigilant culture. They will play their part, including working with professionals from other agencies, to meet the needs of our most vulnerable children and keep them safe. If there are safeguarding concerns we will respond, with appropriate action, in a timely manner.
We have a dedicated team who are trained in dealing with safeguarding concerns. Should you have a concern about a child, please contact either:
Senior Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs R Richardson
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs L Beck
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs S Shelton
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs A Kimbley

Our DSL team can be contacted by e-mail on: safeguarding@hillsideprimary.com This e-mail is also monitored during school holiday periods.
