its a shame that all the good photo's have gone but i like the new updated pictures of the amazing trips and plays i hope that lucie + emily c are being good and hardworking in school and i miss all the teachers from cara xxx

WOW! is all i can say after watching busy busy bethlehem on friday morning. everyone was fantastic! all the children and staff should be very proud of all their hard work! William had kept it all a secret and wouldn't tell us anything. we are such proud parents im not ashamed to say i shed a few tears to see how confident he was on stage. thank you thank you thank you is all i can say! i cant wait for the dvd now to show everyone all the kids ant thir best! well done x

I'm sure I will echo the thoughts of the many parents, carers, family members and friends of the children of Hillside when I say what an absolutely fantastic performance of 'Poptastic Christmas' you put on this morning (Wed 14th Dec)! You did an amazing job and should be enormously proud of yourselves! I came away feeling extremely festive - my Christmas has officially begun! Thank you to all of the pupils and members of staff for your hard work. It's important to let you all know how much it's appreciated. Roll on Christmas 2012! Can I just say a MASSIVE THANKS to all the teachers, t.a's, parents and outside helpers who gave up their time on Friday 2nd Dec to make the first ever Hillside Christmas Fayre an absolute success! I can't believe how busy School was on Friday and the money raised will be well used for outdoor learning space improvements. Better start planning next years now!!

hey this is a great website for a school

i would just like to say how proud i am of how well my son william is doing in Miss Hamiltons class in fs2. We sit most nights with his chalk board going over the letters he has been learning in class and he is doing amasing all thanks to Miss Hamelton and the team in foundation. William sat tonight and all on his own has been writing words with out any help. bed tree dad and mum. so proud and we have been watching his class blog and he was so proud of himself to be on "tv". Thank you, you are making Gareth and i very proud parents.

Just like to say what another amazing year with Hillside. Carlie will be leaving Mrs Mornings class and going into Miss Davenports! All change but have to say a big thankyou to Mrs Morning for making the year so very enjoyable for Carlie and believing in her ability even when at times she doesnt. It will be a sad time for her to leave so my fingers are crossed that she has an equally happy time in her new class. Also a mention to Mrs Kennedy in nursery who has endured 2 years with each one of my boys and now Tom is the last one to go through the unit! Thankyou, for making their time throughout so much fun and even when Sam went through into fs2 never forgot him. Mrs Kennedy you really have shown the boys the best introduction to the school that they could possibly have. Mrs Muzeja and Mrs Moore/ Miss Dyal are all fantastic too! Well done and all of your hard work never goes by un noticed, our children are a product of that.

Mrs Newton, a bumpy start but we got there in the end with Sam!! He has grown up such alot and is able to do things now that we would of never belived he was capable of. Again Thankyou for your patience and encouragement, he's going to miss your cuddles but i know he can always come back and get another if he needs it!! Im sure Miss Dakers is going to be fantastic for him too, and it is so exciting and sad at the same time!

Mrs Gillett and Miss Smith, a fantastic team and so caring, thankyou for doing all of the things that just come natural but make the unit as lovely and happy as it is and last but not least, Miss Wardle, we're going to miss you. Sam doesnt quite understand that you wont be back and in a way i dont mind that, but just in case he doesnt manage to say it to you i can say it on his behalf- you have been a wonderful teacher (read write inc) and sam is going to miss you so very much. Good luck with your new school although you dont need it and we wish you every happiness for the future.

WOW! What a show.

The hard work, self sacrifice and dedication that was put into the school performance of School of Rock tonight cannot be over stated. I think one of the actors has a definite career ahead, but not only that I noticed the excellent team work such as a girl taking the initiative to take out a forgotten microphone to a fellow performer. Also the confidence of the sole performers that in my opinion give confidence that lay building blocks for life.

It was very hot and an excellent idea to make ice cream available. I suppose it would have been not possible to open the windows for fear of upsetting some people living locally.

It was a pity that more did not attend and maybe that is down to the new electronic messaging, which may not have been as easily noticed as the old paper version. I will certainly tell everyone I know that it is a show not to be missed.

I echo that message Kirsty; Max thoroughly enjoyed his time in Nursery with Miss Griffin and later Mrs Kennedy, he learnt more than I could have imagined, 4 yr olds telling you how a volcano works is truely amazing. Hopefully he will be as settled and happy in the coming year in FS2 with Miss Wardle and will continue to enjoy school. Thanks guys :-)

Hi, I just wanted to say a huge thanks to Miss Griffin and all the nursery team, for supporting Rhianna during her year in nursery, she really enjoyed it and learnt so much. Rhianna is very excited to be moving "next door" on Wednesday and seeing her friends and new teacher Mrs Newton.

Thank you ever so much to Miss Kerr- 1K and the Nursery staff for making Spencer and Callum's school year so much fun and for all their hard work and patience. It has gone by so quickly. The work put in by all the staff is amazing and I am very proud that my children attend such a wonderful school. Keep up the good work!

We saw the wonderful performance of The Lion King tonight, we all had a great time and really enjoyed it. A big thank you to all those involved, well done!
